2025 NFL Draft Prospect: Malachi Moore
Alabama DB Malachi Moore (13) - Alabama Athletics
Rundown:
Malachi Moore is a 6’0 198 pound defensive back for the University of Alabama. Going into his fifth season as a member of the Tide, Moore has been an integral part of the program. As a true freshman, he was a starter and serious contributor to the National Championship winning team where he also earned Freshman All-American, All-SEC, & All-SEC Freshman team honors. Over his highly productive career, he also earned Third Team All-American honors from Pro Football Focus (PFF) & was voted a permanent captain.
Moore was a surprise return to the collegiate level this year. With NFL draft grades ranging from 2nd through 5th round, he was a surefire draft pick and figured to be a 53-man roster lock. After the departure of legendary head coach Nick Saban, Moore’s return was a huge sigh of relief as he’s projected to not only have another All-American caliber season on the field, he’s heralded as one of the most notable locker room leaders in the country.
Beyond the locker room, Moore’s energy as a player is infectious and you can tangibly see how it disperses across all of his teammates and the crowds. With the intangibles and other notable topics covered, let’s get to the most important section — on field play. Here’s the pros and cons of 2025 NFL Draft Prospect Malachi Moore.
